Rebuilding of OEM AC Generator with new Rajdoot CB points and Hitachi Condensors(En-Route) and NOS LH handlebar switch and used RH switch being redone with fresh Satin black paint and new wiring + knobs.I had in stock a kill switch rebuild kit which proved very useful as the internal circuits were hard to find and stock switch cannot be rebuilt without the kit.The LH switch was a NOS one, thus the internal parts and the wiring was in good condition ,only the original paint was not perfect.I had to smoothen the surface and edges with a 600 sandpaper. The AC generator has been cleaned and polished to give a new look to it.The Original Wesco switch has 2 keys amd only need to be painted. OEM Tacho meter being rebuild

Originally intended to replace only the needle bearing under the first gear cog, we did a complete disassembly of the main and drive shafts so as to take a better look inside and clean it up nicely.

Periodical crank clean+checkup

Had a bit of time on hand, so decided to clean out and check both the cranks, just like that.

The pics show both cranks taking their turns in the "bath tub" :)

Inventory Of Reed Valve assemblies and parts.

This is the total inventory with me of the Reed valves and associated parts.

4 complete assemblies. 5 bare reed blocks, 13 reed stoppers and 14 reed petals. I'll assemble the 5 bare blocks once the reed stoppers get new Zinc Plating. :)

Only two of the reed valve assemblies in the pic are finished (bottom left corner). The rest are yet to be restored.

Enjoy the pics

Oil Pump

The much feared but most important Oil Pump of the RD is a key part to have in perfect condition. The one i have here is as close to perfection as it can get, apart from a new pump. :)
